To that end, I wanted to build a pipeline that I own so I can be like "La la la la la" and then be like... wait I need to build something on the site to enhance my thoughts.

Schema-driven content model
The foundation: flexible content types (schemas) with typed fields, each holding either a single entry or a collection. Content is validated against its schema before anything renders, so the visual system never has to know how a piece of content was authored.
